Mediterranean Living Lab for territorial Innovation (MedLab)
Objetives
Aplicar el enfoque Living Labs del lado de la demanda de las polÃticas regionales.
Description
The main objective of MedLab is the development of a Living Lab in the
Mediterranean area that is based on an integration of the different
Mediterranean regional Living Lab approaches at a transnational level.
MedLab will include on one hand ICT products and R+D services and on the
other hand, territorial innovation governance.
The MedLab project id funded under the MED programme.
The project
is divided into three sections:
- Implementing several Mediterranean Living Labs pilots with specific ICT platforms and co-designing innovative policy approaches in several areas (networks of SMEs, sustainable development, coastal zone management, participatory planning, sustainable tourism)

Carrying out an inquiry on the current application of the Medlab approach (innovation policy, R & D and development
initiatives)

Defining a framework for establishing a Memorandum of Understanding in different contexts that defines a permanent structure for governance and capitalization of the
Medlab approach
