eParticipation through Petitioning in Europe (EuroPetition)

Desarrollar un servicio transeuropeo que permita a las autoridades locales de la UE facilitar e-Peticiones y discusiones on-line con los ciudadanos.

Description

Europetition aims to:

Create a transeuropean e-petitioning service (Europetition) which allows local authorities from 5 European Union territories provide e-petitions and hold on-line discussion groups with the citizens of that area.

Involve citizens in social networks (web 2.0) in order to increase their participation in the regional and european legislative processes. This will be achieved through on-line petitions that will be sent to the key decision makers at both a local, regional and national level (European parliament and the European Commission).

Europetition is a European project that has been approved through the eParticipation programme launched by the European Commission´s D.G information society.
