Objetives
Diseño del proyecto constructivo del CIBIC. Se trata de un edificio dirigido al estudio y experimentación sobre nuevos escenarios de desenvolvimiento e interacción derivados del uso de las TICs .
Description
The main objective of this project is to convert I2BC and the Centre of Innovation for the Human Wellbeing into a meeting point of knowledge. As well, we intend to transfer the results of the technological research and development to people’s daily lives through innovation.
To do this, the following labs will be located at CIBIC:
1. The lab as a life scenario:
- The individual at home: HOME SIM
- The individual at home: CARELAB
- The individual and assistance: ASSISTIVE ENVIRONMENTS
- The mobility of the individual: MOBILITY AND ACCESSIBILITY
3. ROBOTIC AND MAN-MACHINE INTERFACE LAB
4. INTELLIGENT ENVIRONMENTS LAB
Also, life will be taken as a source of information by and for the individual and this will be carried out by Living Labs, conceived as a place of validation and analysis of behaviour, perceptions and experiences of the users concerning the use of technologies in real life settings - at home for example.
The phases of this project are the following:
- Phase 0. Organisation and the launching of the project
- Phase 1. Technical conditions
- Phase 2. Design, structure and equipping of the labs
- Phase 3. Execution of construction Work
- Phase 4. Inauguration of CIBIC and continuity plan
