City for Everyone
Objetives
Promocionar la accesibilidad total, identificando barreras por el uso de las últimas tecnologÃas.
Description
City for Everyone aims to establish and strengthen specific initiatives orientated towards obtaining an inclusive habitat, in which everyone can develop his or her own life projects without having to confront limitations or barriers imposed on them by their environment. As such, the launching of the first project called Accessibility, intends to:
Identify accessibility barriers and register them in a dynamic fashion on location maps, with the ultimate purpose of designing and managing accessible city routes for everyone.
To accomplish this:
Utilise a technological innovation designed by the Andalucian company ACT, giving it a new application to the GECOR system. This innovation concerning the GECOR programme has been conceived as a tool to collect, summarise and register accessibility barriers using mobile telephone devices that allow the obtaining of photographs of the barrier in question and its physical location via GPS coordinates.
In agreement with the necessary requirements for the execution of City for Everyone project, the corresponding methodological approach to the general proposal is organised in the following general layout:
- Phase 0 Organisation and project launching - description of the solution
- Phase 1 Solution definition - Work Network
- Phase 2 Redesign and development of technological platform - Quality Plan
- Phase 3 LIVE!! - Already in motion in the city of Malaga
- Phase 4 Elaboration of Conclusions and continuity proposal
